On the 30th of September, 2021, we had the honour of welcoming Minister of State for Business, Employment & Retail, Minister Damien English, to AiP Thermoform Packaging, courtesy of the Clare Local Enterprise Office.
We got the chance to show the Minister our new energy-efficient Illig RV 74D machine. As we produce and supply to our customers locally, we are minimising energy consumption and transport miles at significantly lower CO2 emissions than many of the so-called green alternatives.
During the visit, we also got the opportunity to highlight some of the falsehoods about plastic & emphasised the importance of the plastics sector on Ireland with nearly 19,000 people in the island of Ireland employed in the sector.
